Welcome to The Render Room.

A summer drawing programme for young artists aged 14-17, hosted in a private studio in Dubai. Small groups. Real technique. Big results.

The Render Room is where kids start drawing with purpose, with method, and with a confidence they’ll carry long after summer ends. Led by Reine, every session is hands-on, structured, and built around the fundamentals that actually make someone a better artist: observation, line work, light and shadow, shading, and medium control.

THE PROGRAMME

Session 01 — Lines & Proportions (1.5 hours)
Master pencil grip, line confidence, and the basics of proportion. The foundation every drawing is built on.

Session 02 — The Power of Observation (1.5 hours)
Learn to draw what you actually see and not what you think you see. One of the most transformative skills in any artist’s toolkit.

Session 03 — Light & Shadow (1.5 hours)
Understand how light creates form and depth.

Session 04 — Types of Shading (1.5 hours)
Hatching, crosshatching, contour shading, and freehand mark-making.

Session 05 — Charcoal & Blending (1.5 hours)
A new medium, a new feeling. Students explore charcoal — subtractive drawing, blending, lifting highlights, and expressive mark-making.

Session 06 — From Blank Page to Finished Piece
Everything comes together. Students create a final drawing using the full range of skills from sessions one through five.

The Pencil to Pixel Package includes a BONUS SESSION — Introduction to Digital Illustration on the iPad
Step into the digital studio. Students get a hands-on intro to Procreate — brushes, layers, opacity, and how everything they’ve learned in pencil translates directly to the screen.
Requires: iPad, Apple Pencil, and Procreate app (student-supplied).

AGE GROUP

Ages 10 to 13
Twice per week · Starting July 2026 · Time: TBD upon booking.

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL LEAVE WITH

By the end of The Render Room, students will:

• Draw with confidence, intention, and proper technique
• Understand how light and shadow create dimension and depth
• Have a personal toolkit of shading methods they can apply to any subject
• Know how to observe and translate what they see onto the page accurately
• Have worked with pencil, charcoal, and digital illustration tools
• Walk away with a finished portfolio piece from Session 06
• Feel like an artist

MATERIALS

A materials list will be shared with you after booking, with suggestions. Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies. Here’s what you’ll need:

• A4 ring sketchbook
• Pencils: 2H, HB, 4B
• Eraser
• Charcoal sticks (used from Session 05

Digital session requires: iPad, Apple Pencil, Procreate app.

Upon completing your purchase, full details including exact location, confirmed session times, and the materials list will be sent to you directly. Timing slots are being finalized and will be allocated based on age group and availability.

This is an intimate programme with a maximum of three students per group. Your spot is secured upon payment.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes things happen outside of our control. If you need to cancel your booking, here’s how it works:
• Full refund: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the programme start date are eligible for a full refund.
• 50% refund: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Reschedule option: If a refund no longer works for you, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to the next available round of The Render Room at no extra charge.
